Soya Garlic Tikka – A Wonderful Alternative for Vegetarian

Garlic Tikka Recipe        

  • 150 gms Soya Nuggets
  • 3 medium size onions
  • 4 medium-size green capsicum
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chilly powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Oil to fry 

Preparation:

  • Boil the soya nuggets till they become soft.
  • Drain all the water and keep the nuggets aside.
  • Take one bowl for preparing nuggets marination.
  • Put water & ginger pastes, maida, edible food colour, red chilly powder in a bowl and mix well. Add salt to taste and mix.
  • Put all the nuggets in the same bowl, mix well and leave it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Put oil in the pan for frying nuggets. Fry them on low flame till nuggets change into red colour.
  • Put little oil in the pan, saute finely sliced onions and capsicum till its color changes to golden.
  • Add all the fried nuggets and mix it well adding some salt, red chilly powder to taste.
  • Mix soya sauce, vinegar and tomato ketchup properly and mix it to the nuggets and leave pan covered for 5 minutes on low flame.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
