Achari Soya Tikka Recipe

  • 200g Soya chunks- easily found in many indian supermarkets
  • 4 Tbsp Achari Masala
  • 1 Tbsp green chilli minced
  • 2 Tbsp ginger minced2 Tbsp garlic minced
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander
  • 250g Greek yoghurt
  • 5 Tbsp oil
  • 2 Tbsp Cumin seeds
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon

Method

  • Soak soya chunks in hot water for 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Drain soya chunks water and keep it into a medium sized bowl, add the achari spice, minced ginger, chilli, salt, coriander and yoghurt.
  • Add chaap pieces and mix it. Add capsicum and onions also to the marinade and mix properly. Add 2 tsp oil and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour.
  • Put them in skewers and grill it in oven for about 25 minutes by changing sides.
  • Also you can cook it one a non-stick pan by adding little oil and let it turn brown.
  • Serve with coriander or tomato chutney.
